Sorrento, Maine
We hope you enjoy your stay as you find new places to explore and meet new friends.  These notes are to help you
get acquainted with the house.  Please leave us a note if you think something could be changed to make your stay
more enjoyable.

1.  This is our home and while we try to make it easy for you to move right in – we do keep some of our things
around for your enjoyment.  If you feel that small hands or a clumsy moment might cause breakage/staining, etc.
Please move those items at risk to a more safe location.  Thank you.

2.  The Weber Grill is full of propane and ready to go.  Pull it away from the house before each use.  When you
are done cooking, close the cover and turn on high for 10 minutes to cook off excess grease.  (We’ve found it
helpful to set a timer so we don’t forget to turn it off)

3.  Our Property Manager is
Toby Hastings. Toby is just a phone call away if you have need of him. 266-8267.

4. The house next door is used by our sisters Lee Cummings and Di Cummings.  Their phone number is 422-
6820.  You can call them if you have a quick question. (Where to buy lobster, can’t find the post office…etc.)

5.  One thing that makes cleaning between renters much easier is if you have a chance to start a load or two of
laundry, before you leave.  Often our cleaning people have the house done and have to wait around for the
laundry to finish.  Thank you so much for this help.

6. There is no smoking in the house.

7.  We are on a well and private septic.  Please go easy on any harsh chemicals, like bleach, when you are
washing or cleaning.

8. PHONE: W
e now have internet phone (i.e. no internet, no phone.) There is no charge for long distance calls;
however, international calls will be your responsibility.

9. If you have to change your check out appointment time please call T
oby Hastings ahead of time to arrange a
new time to meet.

10. Trash day is Thursday.  Each trash bag must have an orange Sorrento sticker (kept on the refrigerator) stuck
in a visible place.  Please keep trash in the covered trash barrels at all times including when you put it out by the
road on Thursday morning.  We can have little varmints who like the trash so please keep the covers on securely.

11. The house is equiped with cable T.V. and wireless internet.
