I have always been a New Englander; growing up in Fairfield County, Connecticut; spending the summers of
my youth in New Hampshire on Lake Winnipesaukee and Lake Ossipee; my first post-college job on Squam
Lake as a teacher/naturalist; living now with my wife in Falmouth, Maine. I traveled a bit along the way;
graduated college in Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Environmental Science and Resource Management from
Lehigh University; manager of western operations for an international hydrogeological consulting firm, a job
that took me to 39 states over nine years. Even after living for a while in the beautiful Rocky Mountains my
heart was still in New England; and I eventually settled on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee where I founded,
owned, and operated three resort gift and apparel shops for twenty years. I served on the board of
corporators for my local bank as well as on the boards of the water and sewer commissions, planning board,
merchants association, and chamber of commerce.

Customer service, attention to detail, and community service were major reasons for my success in retail; the
very same practices that allowed a natural transition into real estate sales and investment. I obtained both my
Maine and New Hampshire real estate licenses in 2004, but now limit my practice to Maine. My wife and I along
with our Welsh Corgi enjoy our vacation homes on Bear Island on Lake Winnipesaukee, Sugarloaf, and down
east in a working harbor in Frenchman Bay that time forgot. When we are not tending our bees we boat on the
lake, sail with friends on the bay, attempt to hold our own at 6-wicket croquet, and are parents, grandparents,
and in-laws to a blended family living 16 times zones apart.

I work closely with my clients, listening always, appreciating lifestyles and time frames and then artfully
structuring a plan to market a property for a seller or identify the perfect home for a buyer. Primary homes,
vacation homes, oceanfront, lakefront, mountaintop; I go wherever extraordinary properties and extraordinary
lives come together.
"Truly distinctive homes are constructed with great care as to how they sit on their grounds. They are
oriented with the course of the sun and the views from the windows in mind, so that the coveted north light
floods the studio, the morning sun warms the kitchen, or the bank of living room windows takes in the entire
expanse of the gardens. Regardless of price range, these are the things that give a home its worth."
